Brazilian Weight Loss Program: 8 pounds in 2 days!!

Hey everybody, we have transfers this week! Elder Leite and I are staying together and we're getting another companion, his name is Elder Bento! We're super excited for this next transfer, #2 in Jardim Iracema.

Brazilian Weight Loss Program: As a personal testimony, I can say that this program works. All you have to do is go to Brazil, get a headache, a fever, sore throat, and feel like you're going to vomit for a couple days, and you lose 8 pounds! It's really effective, I highly recommend it...

This week went by fast, we taught a lot of people and we should have some baptisms coming up! I'll make sure to keep you guys updated.

Our Savior lives. His life was and is the greatest example that ever was for us. He wants to help us return to Him, to become like Him. He loves us, and wants nothing more than for us to turn to Him and submit ourselves to the will of the Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We've started teaching an amazing old lady that makes us laugh all the time and has such a pure desire to follow her Savior, that she was so excited to walk the 45 minutes to church and said "I won't get tired! There's no such thing as getting tired for Jesus!" Her example is really awesome, she's incredible.

I know that we can receive personal revelation as we pray and seek answers to specific questions that we have. I know that when we fast we are more susceptible to the whisperings of the Spirit, and more likely to accept what we hear. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Pday got switched

Boa tarde todo mundo!

I totally forgot to tell everybody that my P-Day got switched for today, because we got to go to the temple today!

So basically this last week and a half went by really fast, we found a really good burger place, I'll send pictures, and it's only 6 dollars for the burger and delivery too, so kinda dangerous haha.

Our investigators are all progressing, I'm super excited for all of them, we have four people with a baptismal date, so I really hope I get to stay in this area next transfer to see their baptisms!

My message today is about the temple. I know that the temple is the house of the Lord, that the covenants we make there are sacred and eternal, and that through them we can return to our Father in Heaven again. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I hope everybody had a great Christmas!

Food Section: Some awesome members fed us on Christmas Eve and Christmas, shoutout to the Floresta Ward! I got to see my friend Elder Allen from the CTM, I got to eat some of the best cake I've ever had, and our Bishop brought us more food Christmas night. All around a great Christmas with these amazing people in Brazil!

Classic Brazil: We woke up the other day at 6 am to a guy trimming our tree almost to the trunk while blasting funk, a music genre here with a heavy beat and really bad lyrics haha, short video attached.

Message: With New Years coming up, I want to talk about goals. Elder M. Russel Ballard said "I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don't set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our potential. When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life." We can all set goals for 2020 to be a better person than we were in 2019, in everything that we do. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
